Here's one that's a bit more recent. About 1975 at North Bondi pool. Me with my Grandmother, Marjorie, or Nanny as we called her. We spent a lot of time here growing up.
Hi Hannah - I would have been a few beaches south at that time - I'm a 71 baby, born in Waverley Hospital - lived in Coogee until I was 6! it's a small world!
oh how I miss the rock pools at the beaches - that's my most missed thing now that I live in Perth - ahh Mahon Pool (Maroubra Beach) how I long for it! it almost makes me cry!
Hi, welcome to Chicken Willow, my name's Hannah and I like making stuff.
I'm a SAHM with two kids who are 8 and 7 years old (Joe and Ella). Married to an IT/web design/entrepreneur guru (Shane). We live in Sydney, Australia with our dog Bobby.
Thanks for stopping by. Oh yeah, I also like Jane Austen, Dr Who, researching my family history, Torchwood, reading crafty blogs and heaps more stuff.

Gorgeous Hannah, both of you :-)
North Bondi Pool, I know it well, I lived at Bondi Beach for years and worked at BJVH.....another common point between us....Scary :-)
my grandmother was a great swimmer and wore a cap just like this. great memories. aren't you cute!
What a cutie!! and Nanny's cap is great! My mum used to have one with ruffles all over it! I thought it was pretty cool at the time!! :)
