Today I got all this loveliness in the mail... (except the mug, that's mine)
It's from Danielle over at Itchin to get stitchin to be used to make her a couple of tiny hexagon pin cushions and guess what the best part is...I get to keep all the left overs, and there will be heaps because, as you can see, the pin cushion doesn't use much. Guess what else...it's all Liberty fabric! This is the first time I've ever touched any. There's also a gorgeous bag as well (did you make this Danielle? I forgot to ask).
No money changing hands at all, just fabric! I'm happy because I get more fabric and Danielle gets pin cushions in the fabrics of her choice.
This one's my favourite...
So, if anyone else wants a tiny hexagon pin cushion, let me know and you can send me some fabric to feed my fabric economy. I might regret saying that and have to renege at any moment but we'll see.

yes, I made the project bag and it's Liberty too. Your favourte Liberty is actually called Gretel (and that's my daughter's name so a favourite of ours too!) x
Liberty fabric has a very special feel about it, doesn't it - so fine and soft. The shop in London is marvellous too.....
Well yes IF I sewed & used pin cushions I would gladly send some fabrics as a swap....maybe I will get a pin cushion anyway just because!!! TK
oohh i sense a liberty fan in the making..and i lurve the pin cushions..happy stitching..lynnie
Thats a great swap! Your little pincushions are fab and the Liberty Fabric, well what can I say :-) I lived in London for 4 years and every year the shop puts a huge red bow around the building just like a giant Christmas present...I loved going past it on my way home from work.
That is such a brilliant idea! That fabric looks gorgeous and will make soime stunning little pin cushions. Enjoy.
Brilliant idea H! Would love a pin cushion if you have time. Will find some fabric for you soon.
