Yesterday me and my sister went to four op shops and I came out with some nice floral sheets to use for some skirts and dresses for Ella. Might get started on one today.
Check out some more creativeness at Kootoyoo. Thanks Kirsty!

How fun!! I bet those are going to be gorgeous skirts soon.....
I love op shop sheets. Looks like you found some great patterns.
Those soft florals look gorgeous and I hope you have fun transforming them into some dresses/skirts. I love how soft against the skin old cotton sheeting is so I am sure your girl will love wearing them.
Lovely sheets!! I'm always amazed at how your view of some fabrics changes when you change it's use! They'll be just perfect for skirts and dresses!!
Enjoy!

Those floral prints will definitely make lovely skirts.
oh yes, those prints will make lovely skirts and dresses.
Lovely sheets. They will look great in skirts in dresses :)
I am tearing my hair out trying to find some cool funky winter clothing for my 8 year old Max that doesn't have skulls & crosses on it.....what a sweet idea, cute, stylish & cost effective to boot!!! Can "big boys" wear florals do you think??!!?? hmmmm...just wondering!!!
So jealous! What great finds! I need to head out and see what I can find for myself as well. There's more sewing needing to be done at my place and sheets like those would be perfection!
Loving those prints! I have yet to find anything good at our local shops.
Great finds - I look forward to seeing what they become...
Well I hope you have a productive time!! Can't wait to see the results!! *waits eagerly by her lap top* lol

Ooh, there's some lovely ones in there. Have fun sewing them up. Its waaaaaaay to cold to think about sheety dresses here.
Hi Hannah
Came across your blog via Kootooyoo. I love the stuff you make. Good luck with the online business.
Looks like some great colours in there Hannah. I'm reading so much about vintage sheets from the op shops lately. It just hadn't clicked how handy they can be! I mean I use vintage chenille bedspreads for all manner of things, so don't know why it wasn't a natural progression of thought to use the sheets! lol.
Have fun making your skirts. :)
Some lovely fabrics there. I'd be interested to hear how they go crease wise. I made a couple of pillow case dresses a year back (http://sosewpoppy.blogspot.com/2009/02/dress-in-action.html)and that was my only complaint - creased to high heavens they did!
