Getting crafty in the kitchen

Well I haven't been being very crafty out of the kitchen so thought I'd show you what I cooked for dinner...yummy chicken paella.

Also showing you someone else's craftiness. Joe went to a party the other weekend and look at the cake that the birthday girl had! How cute. Mum (or Dad maybe?) made the base and they ordered the angry birds from overseas. The kids (and grown ups) loved it.

Hope you are all having a nice week. It's just awful what's happened in NZ isn't it.
xx

Paella looks wonderful - I think I might have to hunt out a recipe for one - I've never tried to make one myself - but lived in Spain for a while and loved eating them!

That cake is fantastic too!

I've found it too hard to watch the news about NZ - I turned the tv on just as it had happened and got caught up in the horror of it all. I'm not sure I like our instant footage of such terrible and emotional scenes - I had to switch off!
Scary times though - with floods, cyclones, earthquakes! Or maybe it's always been like that, we just hear more about it, and the world is so massively populated now that the disasters are having a bigger and bigger effect on us now!

Hope you are keeping well!
I've been having a lovely morning, escaping into some lovely creative spaces and blogs!

Dinner looks delicious Hannah and that cake is a winner for sure, so cute! I havn't been able to blog this week after the NZ disaster. Such an awful thing, too close after the cyclone....we are washed out up here! Such a huge recovery in front of them. I'm sure a lot of people will be feeling overwhelmed.

Have a great weekend xx
