My Creative Space...

Since I opened my shop yesterday I need to photograph some more things I've been making.

These are iPad sleeves.

It was Shane's idea for the simple design. I made him that black one because he's not a crafty/patterny kind of guy so all black was his request.

No, we don't have an iPad yet, but Shane made me a pretend one out of wood (how sweet is that). It's to the exact measurements of a real one so I could make sure they fitted perfectly.

They're made from old clothes and fabric I found at op shops and lined with polar fleece.

So photography is what I'll be doing today (if the sun comes out a bit more). Go and check out all the other crafty people at Kootoyoo.

Those are really nice! And how sweet of your hubby.

The fact that Shane made you the fakey out of wood is just about the best thing ever.

I'm sure they'll sell like hotcakes.

Oh those are so lovely! I love that you've made them from old clothes. Isn't Shane a sweetie for making you a wooden iPad - will you make a children's 'pretend iPad' from it when you have finished? Complete with it's own cover, of course.

They look great! I think they'll sell like hot cakes. Makes me kinda wish I had an ipad, even though I'm still not completely sure what they are.

Love is helping your wife get crafty and creative. Well done on opening your shop, I have thought about it but just don't know if I have the discipline/time to do it. Mabey...one day

These are gorgeous - so neat and pretty. iPad sleeves are on my list of makes too... along with covers for digitizer/graphics tablets - I looked for one online for my new tablet and couldn't find any!

Seeing as you're in Aus (not jealous much!!) and I'm in the UK (get me out of here) I hope I won't be competing with yours... I'll be on folksy not etsy - can't be doing with using dollars!! ;)

PS. Do call in at my blog to take part in my giveaway if you'd like to. It's at http://amoebahandmade.blogspot.com/2010/05/thats-my-pic-just-there-and-my-first.html - look forward to seeing you there!
